CNN (a helping hand)

On the website CNN which is a nationally known website, there is a story that talks about how Barack Obama, the president of the United States, tries to get a group of governors to agree with a health care plan that would help all citizens in the U.S, and if passed it will start at the beginning of 2014. It also states that each state will have to come up with plans that will match the requirements in the bill. This is just an example of what all this website has to offer. It is very helpful for research on government or political events.

MY POLITICAL SIDE

Hello, My name is Kevin Ray. I have not been apart of any government activity such as voting, working in campaigns, etc. I am taking this class because it is a class i would need to transfer to a university. In high school i wasn't a great student. I never paid attention in class therefore i never really learned anything about ;history or the government. So from this class i hope to gain some more knowledge about how the government works, a little history within the government, and more. One thing i do know is that if i would have to pick a side between the democratic and republican parties, i would have to go with the democrats because i know the are for the middle class and the republican are more for the upper class.
